Misfits last night was totally awesome and I totally got in and was able to watch them, and got a huge erection when I watched them play.
Poop.
Took too long to get there. I decided to wait for Jayden until 9:30, then there was a delay on the skytrain X2, but the time I got there, it was sold out. Since when the fuck do shows sell out around here? Balls. Jayden didnt come because he wanted to get laid instead, and if he didn't, I'm going to kill his dog. Not really though, because Kemo is awesome. Maybe I'll put a hole in his snare and bass drums.
Yeah.
Jeremy and I ran into Cahill and Liira on the skytrain and went to Pub 340 with them instead for some metal show which was considerably cheaper than the Misfits, but definately not as fullfilling for me. The bartender was wicked hot though, and totally remembered what I ordered after my first drink so I didn't even have to ask. The first band was good, the second band, Entropia, who I've seen play at the Cobalt before was awesome. They played a slayer covered that totally made me shit myself when they got to the solo. The third band was a folk metal band with a chick drummer and violinist. The bassist and one guitarrist were guys. They were good. Their set started off really well, but slowly tapered off from there. Either that or my drunken attention span was slowly becoming shorter and shorter.
Caught the very last skytrain home, and decided to go to McDonalds, but they were closed, so we tried to going to Wendy's (about 2:20am) and they were closed. Then we remembered the McDOnalds in Langley by my work is 24/7 so we went there and had the best tasting food of my life. Then Nazi Zombies was played, and I went to bed.
New couch got delivered today. Hoorah! It's a sectional. It's beige with brown leather, and quite nice. And it came with an ottoman (the furniture, not the people.)
Playing board games tonight. Should be allright.
Anyone now a good band name?
I asked Chaill and Liira to same the first words that came into their heads. Liira said "Oh." Cahill said "No." . . . . . . . . "Oh No, The Eggs!" |

Theres a bunch of drunk people being loud at night in my house. I better not need to find another place to live tomorrow because of this. This was a bad idea. Its jeremy's brithday today and people came back over. I figured it would just be me, Jeremy, Alex, and maybe Jamie Jacques, which would be fine because we'd all play Nazi Zombies and shut the fuck up. But.... it'a not just them, and we're not being terribly loud, but still above the acceptable volume, i think. Im making Jeremy apologize tomorrow because one of the girls tried to go into my neighbours house. I dont think she appreciates it, as she doesn't really have a sense of humour. They insist on talking about porn. Like seriosuly? go home. I just wish that if they all wanted a loud, drunken night, theyd go to a fucking bar or something. I really dont want to have to move again....
I dont really know what else.
Band is going ok. Jamie is picking up quite well. Jeremy is being Jeremy, and really doing much. He still hasn't learned any of our songs completely and his singing is lacking. I dont care much about his singing because I want him to do metal vocals after anyway, but still. It seems to be slow with him. Id suggest getting a new singer but I dont think thatd go well, as hes my roommate, my friend and I dont think this band is too for serious anyway.
Im kind of bitter tonight, and Im not sure why.
I didnt go to work this week except for Monday and half of Tuesday. I wasnt really sick all week, mostly I just didnt want to go to work. I spent tons of time playing Borderlands. Its pretty sweet. Id describe it as Diablo II meets Fallout 3 with more cartoony graphics.
I just told everyone to keep it dopwn, and theyre all being loud again allready. Goddamnit.
I bought some new strings today. I'm going to put them on Jayden's Jackson. They're Ernie Ball, which is a first because I always buy D'Addario string. These ones are also "hybrid" string. Heavy lows, light highs. Theyre a 10-52. They should be interesting to play, and Ive been meaning to try them anyway. Last strings I tried were Gibson strings and both packs I.bought brokoe a string on first tuning. Gay.
I gotta finish filling out my BCIT application tomorrow. I need to get this shit taken care of. |

Truck broke down yesterday (6:00pm...). I think my starter went.... Went to the Brick to look at some new couches for my place and when I came back, my truck wouldnt start. Tried to get it fixed in the parking lo,t but to no avail. My parents were out in Coquitlam so my dad couldnt come help, like he normally would. I ended up getting my truck to towed to my parents house, and my parents said I could use their car for the day. Well, last week my keychain broke and Ive been literally carrying a keyring which has soley my truck key, and my work key on it, so i when I got to my parents house I discovered that I couldnt get in, which meant no car keys. On top of that, I had to ride there with this crackhead tow truck driver who had brought his crackhead girlfriend with him all the way to my house. So I go to get the spare key from out back of my parents house, and of course its not there. Called my parenst and got the "well it should be there...." Well, it wasn't. "Well maybe Stan (their neighbour) has a key. Well, he didn't. Called Jeremy to get him to bring me my spare key, to which he did not answer. Got Toby's dad to drive me back to my house, and of courtse, Jeremy was home, and had just decided he didnt want to answer. Awesome. Finally got my parents car, went bowling, had drinks, went to bed.
Gay.
Today I looked at more couches and found one I will potentially buy. I want to but probably shouldnt.
I get my computer upgraded tomorrow. 1TB Harddrive, new motherboard, 2.4ghz QUAD core processor, 8GB ram, 1GB Video Card. $600 INSTALLED Edit It also comes with Windows 7. Im terrified.
Nice.
However, that upgrade + truck repairs + new couch ($1100?!) = more than I should spend.
Too bad I will probably buy it all anyway.... |

So this weekend went well.
Left Saturday morning to go to the Doobie Brother concert. After a 2 hour border wait (fucking long weekends....) we were on our way. I picked up a 24 case of beer for $20 at the duty free. Score! A few stops and a lot of rock n roll later, we got to The Gorge Ampitheater. It was pretty cool. We got there just as the show was beginning. By the time we got drinks, bought concert tees and found our seats the Doobie Brothers' set was just ending allthough we could hear them the whole time. After that was the Allman Brothers. They played a pretty tight set. Lots of improv, and it was really well done. After that was The Dead aka The Grateful Dead. They were pretty good too, but not even close to Allman, which is who I really went to go see anyway.
Interesting things:
We had some guy infront of us share/give us close to $60 of free weed during the show. Score.
On the way there, a cop wouldn't let us through the road to the Gorge and when we asked why, he replied "Because you're going to go that way." Ummmm. Dick.
I drove between 130-170 km/h the whole way there (and back...) with a speed limit of 110 km/h without getting pulled over.
After the conceert, we were supposed to drive to Monroe to meet Jesse's dad at the car swap meet. After an hour of driving we decided to sleep at a truck weight station about an hour from Seattle on the I-90, as I was falling asleep at the wheel. Needless to say, we got less than 2 hours of sleep. At 4:00am I got up, decided I wasn;t going to be able to sleep any longer and finished the drive.
At the car swap meet, I didn't buy any cra parts, obviously, but I did buy a bunch of records. I later met a guy that works for a record shop. He gave me appraisals of the records I had just bought in there current conidition, as well as his business card. Record are as follows:
Led Zepplin - Led Zepplin 4 (with original changable sleeve. $30 american Paul McCartney and Wings - Band on the Run. $20 The Alan Parsons Project - I Robot. $10******* The Band - The Best of The Band. $5 Black Sabbath - Paranoid. $10
not bad for 50 cents a piece....
and a couple more that I cant remember. I dont actually have them with me, I left them at Jesse's and I'll pick them up from his at work some time this week or the next.
I also asked that guy about these two Beatles albums I have.
Blue Album - $80 1st Live Recording album. $140. |

I didn't go to work again today because I really just didn't feel like going. I didn't go on Friday. Ashley spent the night on thursday and we didn't get to bed until almost 4:00am so when I woke up at 6:30 to get ready for work, I just added an hour to my alarm and called in sick at 7:30. Friday, we hung around all day, and didn't actually get out of bed until around 2:00pm. After killing time around the house all day, we went out with jeremy and Crystal to BP for some dinner, then we went to Cresent beach and had a fire with Jeremy, Crystal, Toby, Jamie, Alex, and Zerina. Jordan and Megan were there as well, but left before we got there. Saturday I woke Ashley up at like 8:30 because I was awake and just bored. Around 2:00 we were supposed to go to some BBQ, but it got cancelled so we went out to lunch with some of her friends. After that, we went to Shark's Club for her friend's birthday, and we left around 10:30. I contemplated going downtown to the cellar afterwards, but decided not to, mainly because I had pretty much entirely lost my voice. I thought I was going to be sick the next day, but I wasn't. My voice still isn't back to par today, which I used as an excuse to not go to work. I'll go tomrrow, though.
Sunday I helped my dad get rid of those trees we ripped down infront of our place, then we went to some cra show at D.W. Poppy. Then I went to WalMart with Toby, and to the driving range with Toby and Rob K. I went with Alex to Timmies later that night as well. It was a good day.
I need to start looking for a new place soon. Im excited to have a roommate that works the same shifts as I do so that I wont be bored off my ass every night when I get home.
I think tonight Ashley is coming over and we're watching a movie or something. If not, Ill probably phone about a couple places I saw for rent yesterday. I also might call about some condos that are for sale. Its a rent to own thing, and aparently they start at $370/month? That seems ridiculously cheap, but I mgiht call anyway. Im betting those places for $370 will be tiny, and without laundry, etc. If they have some larger ones for even $500-600, I would be interested....
I spent most of today cleaning. I finally cleaned my room up, did all the dishes and am waiting for some laundry to finish.
Levi took off today as soon as he got up to go see Wolverine. Im hoping he comes back ta some time today before he goes to work so we can discuss the whole moving out thing. Since he is moving in with his gf's mom, Im assuming he wont need most of the stuff we have, so Im going to ask him if I can have most of it for now, and when they get a place, we can divide it up properly then. The few things we bought togther we have receipts for so it makes the trading a bit easier.
Things are going relatively smoothly right now. Im a fan of it. |

Aaarrrrrrrrrrrrrruuuuggghhhh??!!?!?!
The last weeks been pretty boring. Carly's party on friday wasn't too bad, but not great. There were of weaird ass gangster Whalley kids there. All of carly's brother's friends were dudes. At least when my brother's friends came to my party, there were a few girls. This party didn't even have a black chick for Jayden to make out with! Anyway, we left around 1:00 I guess? Then Jayden, Jeremy, Cahill, and myself bought some pizza and played street fighter until about 4:00am.
Saturday night, I passed on going to Trollband downtown, and instead settled for going to bed at about 10:00. Win!
Sunday, I was fucking bored all day, so I finally found something to do. Julianna and I went to the beach for a bit, then for some bubble tea. I got home at like 8:00 hung out wiht Levi and went to bed after playing some Dragonquest. While laying in bed, I thought to myself "Fuck, I had tickets to the Canucks game tonight....." Too late.
Monday, I went to the beach again with Ashley, Rob P., Jessica, and Christine. That was fun. We went to Charlie Don't Surf, and it was relatively awful, then took a walk on the peir and watched retards jump into the cold ocean. After that, Ashley and I went to BP for some real food. I had allready eaten before I left, and she didn't have money so she didn't order anything at Charlie. She never told me she didn't have money, and she didn't want to ask. I pretty much had to make her let me buy her dinner. Aparently she didn't want to ask because I paid last time too, and she didn't want me to pay twice in a row. Im a fan of that. Then we watched some black-romantic-comedy (Bromantic?) with Ashton Kutcher and a bucnh of n-words. It was pretty decent. Then we fell asleep and we woke up at about 2:00, and she went home.
Yesterday and today, I looked at tent trailers. I swear nobody sells any nice ones anymore.... I might start looking at ones in the states, actually.... but not yet. I haven't given up on Vancouver yet....
Camping this weekend. Im uncertain about the weather. Every place I look says something different. I think we're going to be going up on Saturday now, but not for sure. It really depends if Rob and Jessica are coming or not.... If they come, Friday, if not, Saturday. I plan to setup a tarp city, so I dont much care what the weatehr does, but everyone else seems to be concerned about it...
I've been talking to Brett a lot lately, it's odd. I don't think he knows I'm seeing his daughter again, but Im not sure. He's been..... nice? to me lately. I don't know how to take it. Ashley asked me if I'd rather have him be mean.... I'm just not used to Brett being nice, I dont know how to take it yet. He actually stays and converses with me during work. Hmm

Things have been interesting lately, to see the least. Its been quite eventful. So Ashley and I are dating again, and Im pretty fucking excited about it. We had a bit of a talk about, and decided to only tell 4 people at work because we dont want it getting around like it did last time. So far, so good.
Went to Okonomiyaki party last week, and it was pretty good. Toby, Im sorry but you really pissed me off that night. I wish you would keep some of those comments to yourself. Anyway, okonomiyaki is like pancake, but made with cabbage and bacon. Its not bad, but not great either. I had a few small pieces, butnot much more. It didnt help that i had eaten dinner before I went there. After the okonomiyaki party, we all went to the Surrey Central Pub. That was pretty good. The music was a bit loud, but good and I ate tons of food like a fatty. Then went home.
Last night was Saki's going away party. It was probably the second saddest night of my life. It was also really fun. I didnt get home until about 4:00am so I didnt go to work today. I may not go tomorrow either, just for the sake of having a long weekend. Anyway, we all hung out at Steve and Kayleigh's until around 11:00 before leaving for the airport. There are some nice pictures of me in a pink Hello kitty shirt that was incredibly small, and a bunch of the girls kept trying to get me to take off the shirt that was underneath. We waited with Saki until about 2:30am before we sadly left. Everyone was crying except Rob P. and myself because we're men. It was a close call though... Saki was so sad to leave. As much as I understand the immigration policy, I can't help but not grasp the simple fact that even though she loves it here, and we all love having her here, she cant stay. She loves this place to pieces and can't even stay, and that fucking sucks. Anyway, we'll see her again. I talked to her last night and decided that we should write eachother often, which I am a fan of. It was sad to see her go. On the way home, jessica put on "Hot N Cold" because "nobody can be sad while listening to to "Hot N' Cold.'" We all were.... it sucked. At leats we all made a good friend though.
Today, I paid my rent (a day late, oops.) got a moolatte and played street fighter a bunch. Not very eventful. I didnt get out of bed until about 2:30pm today. The day was hal;f done and I fealt like it was 7:00am. Now I know how levi feels all the time. Even now, it's only 8:00 and I know I need to sleep soon in the next few hours, but I can't grasp going to bed yet. I spent a bunch of today thinking about Saki. I can't believe she's gone. It ahsnt really set in yet. I looked at the cards she made Levi and I; they're so fucking adorable. It hurts a little, you know.
Next weekend is the first camping trip of the year. Its going to be cold. I hope it doesn't rain, but we'll see what happens. Im going to ask my dad if I can take his motorhome, which will probably be a big no, but we'll see. Im even considering renting a tent trailer or somesuch. I think Im goign to see if I can get myparents to pay for half of one for my birthday gift, and I'll pay the rest or someshit. I love cxamping, but I hate setup time, and as much as having a trailer "Isn't really camping" it's still nice to have when I want it. In any case Im excited. We've got about a dozen people going which is a good amount. It should be fun nonetheless. |

So my Home Improvement party was a success, as far as Im concerned. It had a good turn out, lots of drunks, and minimal mess to clean up the nex day. Super!
Today I wore a suit and got snazzy'd up ska show. It was pretty allright. I stayed for 4/6 bands. the first band was pretty good. Second band I had seen before and they were ok. Third band was really good, and fourth band was just so-so. I expected a little bit better, but it was a pleasant night nonetheless. I think it may have been a bit more fun if I had got mroe than 3 hours of sleep last night. and maybe if I had drank a little more. That pizza place next to the Vineyard sucks. I really don't know why we go there everytime we're at a show there...
Tomorrow, I need to finish cleaning and just general tying up of loose ends. I may also wash my truck, depending on what the weather is like.
K bye. |

SO I havent written in here since Feb. 10? Allright?
Yet in all that time, not a whole lot has happened. This weekend was fun. Moreso Friday than Saturday though. Friday I went to a Textbook Tragedy show?! I know, I thought they had died, too. Anyway, the add was for a metal show and blah blah blah it turned out to be a bunch of hardcore bands. And yes, ATT is just as shitty as I remember them. Anyway, Jayden and I arrived at 6:30. The ticket thing said it was at 6:00 but since nobody was playing yet, we proceeded to go to my truck and start drinking. Adrienne and Rowan showed up, as did Jeremy at some point. Needless to say, I was pretty drunk by 7:30-ish. It's amazing how much time you save by drinking hard alcohol! So we went inside, listened to some bands, punched some highschool kids, etc. At some point we got pizza, and at some point Jayden punched me in the jaw. I also had one really good angst-fight with Jayden, and my knuckles were pretty well bruised Saturday morning. My neck was also pretty damn sore, and my random spots on my arms are all bruised up. It was a good time. Afterwards we got some food and played some video games! Perfect!
Last night, some people were at Kennedy Heights pub for cheap wing night, then we went downton to Pub 340. The first band (Guppy's band) was pretty funny as they gave away some bread, and played a metal cover of 'Saftey Dance.' After that the night got kinda lame. All the bands sounded the same and they all had that same fast-paced metal drum beat. You know? the one where it's fast, but not fast enough to make me care to do anything. This is why I like punk shows... Um, didn't really drink much because I was the DD so I think I had 2.5 drinks through the course of the entire night. Um what else.... oh! We went to smoke/use the ATM outside and met some really drunk girls that kept talking to us and giving us hugs. Then one of them yelled at ahomeless man and threatened to stab her with her high-heel! The guy left, then came back and yelled at her, then he called her fat and left. She wasn't fat. She was like... maybe 110 lbs? At a height of about 5'5" ish? Yeah. We contemplated picking them up, but then decided it was probably not a good idea because the one girl was pretty fucked. I dont want to wake up next to anyone who stabs with high-heels.....
This week, my parents are gone to Mexico so Im having my HIA party, which Im sure I invited you all to. I get to spend the week at my parents house, eating their food, watching their 52" HDTV, spending their money, and petting MY cat. Sweet.
Ive found myself with a lot of free time lately. Consequently so, Ive started playing Utopia again. It's weird though. A lot of things are different, and I don't really like it at all.
Work is pretty gay. I got written up a few days ago for yelling at one my managers infront of a bunch of other people. My boss even admitted that he didn't want to/feel the need to do so, but he had to simply because it was infront of other people. I think i need to start looking harder for a new job. Ive thrown a couple resumes around, but nothing too serious. I think Im going to wait until April for two reasons: One: If I wait until then, I get another full year of DPSP which will bring my total to about $11,000. Two: Im currently building A FUCKING GO KART at work, and would liek to finish it before I go. It's funny though, because Im the only person with any welding skills so if I quit before thats all done, it will probably never get finished.
Thats all, I guess.
See you in another 2.5 weeks, LJ! |

Today was probably the worst day Ive had in work in months. I started at 7:30, and I didn't get to take my first break until almost 2:00. Needless to say, I really wanted to fuckin punch somebody by that point. The fact that I spent almost that whole time working outside on some guys trailer, makes it even shittier. It's not warm out. it doesn't help that I don't usually work outside for more than 10 minutes a day, so i dont dress for it at all. Fuck.
Went to some party at some house in Vancouver on Saturday night. It was pretty fun. Jayden invited us, but when we got there we couldnt find him and nobody knew him so it was a little akward. But then we took over the couches and stared drinking and the night magically got better. Jayden, as it turned out, was there the whole time, and we looked everywhere except for the room he was in! Anyway highlights are as follows: I got really drunk. There was some pretty cute girls there, but I had no wingman. (Levi was with these 2 girls he brought, Jayden was macking on some chick, and lets face is: Jeremy and Jamie make poor wingmen....) Jeremy spilled some liquor all over the kitchen floor. Levi played with the Djs equiptment. Jamie farted on some girl. The girl yelled at Jamie and left. I took popcorn from Jayden and told him to slay his dragon. I argued with the cab driver on the way home. When I got home, we played street fighter.
This weekend will be interesting. Friday night Im going to Ashleys birthday dinner thing. It will be weird, I'm thinking. A bunch of her friends that I didn't even meet when were dating will be there, as will a lot of the ones I do know. Her family will also be there. Then there's me. I don't know. It will probably be fine, but we'll see. Saturday night Im either seeing Ashley again, or going downtown to some metal show. Not sure which yet, I'll have to figure it out with Ashley, I guess. We've been seeing a lot more of eachother lately, and we've been talking about an "us" again. I'm optimistic about it, but Im also trying to not really get my hopes up right now, because I really don't feel like having anymore disappointment. Anyway, she leaves for Mexico on Monday next week, for 8 days, so I told we should at least wait until she comes back before we get into anything. She agreed. I'm really uncertain as to how this will turn out. I would really like it to all be fine, and I still really like her, but I don't see her how I used to. Im expecting that to change once we start seeing more of eachother again. Again, I'll just have to be patient and see.
Im such a brokeass motherfucker these days. It sucks. I really need to learn how to better manage my money. I also need a new job, but I've been saying that for 2 years now....
Im going to bed. Today exhausted me. It was a fairly high stress day for me. I could really have done without it... |

Mt. Baker was pretty amazing last weekend. We boarded on Saturday, drank oourselves silly on Sunday, then boarded again on Monday. It was quite a bit of fun, actually. It was nice to get a bit of riding done, and it actually went well considering how few times I've gone this year. I spent a bunch of time in the park area at Baker and that was a blast. Probably the best I've ever riden, actually.
Come home monday and started feeling sick. Went to work on Tuesday, as was sick as fuck, I was actually just going to stay until Jesse came in, but it turns out he's not in on Tuesdays (I thought it was only monday, in which case he would be in....) so I ended up staying all day. Wednesday I called in sick, Thursday I called in sick. Friday I went to work because I couldnt afford to miss anymore days. It turns out that my sick days reset, so I left at 1:00. It's weird, I feel fine almost every night, but during the day I just feel awful. I was supposed to go to Dublin's last night, but decided against it. Ashley was practically begging me to go down there. Aparently we're going downtown tonight, we'll see how it goes.
Im not really sure whats wrong with me, though. I keep having hot/cold flashing. (Because Im hot then Im cold. Im yes, then Im no. Im in and Im out. Im up and Im down?) Um, my nose is really stuffed, it hurts to move my eyes far to the side, and my skin just kind of hurts everywhere.
I really like the song Watching You by Rodney Atkins. It has such a nice theme behind it. It's not terrible music-wise, either.
I should get ready now I guess. I need to shower becfore Tracy gets here, then I need to get my ass to Surrey Central for drinks.
Also, Im going to go see Fleetwood Mac!
Also, Im going to go see Nitty Gritty Dirt Band!
Two bands that I never thought I'd be able to see, ever. |

And no, the 2 girls 1 cup: The show, is not what you would think it is. |

Finally got my internet hooked up last week. It's nice to have, and it also mean I can use my PS3 to watch high-def internet porn! Win.
Work has been going ok as of late, but I've started thinking more of quitting. Im getting tired of waiting for my next hydraulics course. I've thinking not even so much as to a new job as I have a career. Job of interest to me:
Welder: as long as it's not production work. It could be fun to work at an actual custom design metal shop. Akways changing work, and relatively fun. Cons are that it's poor for my health.
Millwright: This is me. A kind of jack-of-all-trades. That's pretty much what I am now. I know electrical, I know hydraulics, I know welding and metalworking, and I know basic woodworking. Also consists of machine repair. High paying job, and is also a red-seal trade trade meaning it's good anywhere in Canada, and possibly the world? Costs of school and tools is often repayed by government. Only real con is that there isn't exactly a lot of local work for it. This is very high on my list.
Heavy Duty Mechanic: This is also of a lot of interest; probably second on my list. Simple premise is that you fix heavy machines. Dump trucks, tractors, semi-trucks, cranes, backhoes, mining equiptment, etc. Fairly high paying job with a decent amount of local opportunities. Cons of this job are that it's very labour intensive working on these machines, and reloaction may be necessary. Also, a lot of places higher on apprentices but make them do shit work and never really get them moving up. It can take several jobs before you find one that will actually employ you as a hevy duty mechanic.
Aircraft mechanics: This would just be neat. I find helicopters and planes facinating and it would definately be fun to learn more about. I have a knack for mechanics and this could be interesting. The jobs are fairly high paying, and I have an inside way into the field via the work Im already doing under the table. Problem with this is once I learn more about it, I may not be interested in it anymore, and I really have no idea if there's much work locally in this field.
Home Depot Night Receiver: This would be my dream job. I would have fun going to work everyday, and make decent money, and there is local work as well. Only problem is I'm not Levi!
Not much else happened. Went to the Cobalt again this weekend. One band was really good. "Entropia." They sound very Metallica-like, which I am a fan of. They're up there with "Burnaby Leather" for my favourite bands I've seen at the Cobalt.
I was at my parent's yesterday hooking up internet to my mom's new computer. When I left my house, one of my landlords was outside in the chicken coop singing to the chickens. It was the guy landlord too, not the old lady. It was fuckin' funny. And yes, we have a chicken coop in our back yard. What of it?
I need to ease up on my spending... Ack.
Edit: I also got invited to this by one of my Quebec cousins: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group.php?gid=45877975255
"C'est 10 jours de Blues avec des musiciens et chanteurs de Blues d'un peu partout,Ca se passe au mois de juillet et la beauté de la chose c'est en plein air au bas du Mt-Tremblant avec plusieurs scenes et c'est GRATUIT"

It sounds fun to me! I'm considering going, actually. There will be a few Rajotte's there allready.
I finally got rid of these 2 boxes Ive had sitting in the living room for the last month. I found a lot fo stuff in there that i wasn't expecting. I kept the important stuff, and threw away most of it. Amongst the things I kept were important keepsakes of past relationships, dating back to when I was in grade 9. Old shit. Stuff from Ashley S., Kayla, Rachel, Toby, and Ashley W. I put it all in a box in my room, as I figure I wont regret keeping it. Some of it's meaningful, some of it is dumb shit that I just can't get rid of, like this stupid pipe-cleaner deer that Rachel made me way back when. I also found like 100 pens, and 30 lighters, a bunch of random foreign coins and my mug shot from when I got arrested! I also found my old sketch pad from when I was like... 7 years old? I think I could draw better then, than now. I still have so much stuff at my parents house, Im kind of cusious what other stuff Im going to find. Im such a pack-rat, just like my dad.....
I've realized lately that Im so much like my dad. It's crazy. |

It's been a rough last couple days. Mostly due to being sick, and heavy drinking.
New years was pretty fun. I had just over half a 2-6 of Gibson's 12-year, among other drinks. It was all good until about 2:30 or so when I passed out in a leather recliner, holding the bucket. Aparently there's a pciture of it somewhere on the internet. I havent looked yet, but I'll be sure to post it if I do. Next day, I woke up at around 7:00, then again at 9:00. Went home and slept until about 7:00pm.
I worked on friday and it was allright. We have this new girl at work, Sarah, she's super cute. That made the day go faster. Actually, I had lots of work to do because I left a project half complete before New Years that I had to finish it, which took a good portion of the day. Then, I had to help Al for the rest of the day. He's usually a douche-bag but he was ok that day, I guess. I should probably get to know this Sarah girl better though, Im really the only person at work she talks to, and she seems really nice. Yeah, I'm a fan. After work, I went to Celebrities. Yeah, I went to a gay bar. It was actually not too bad. Only complaint I have is that they only played shitty techno all night. I was expecting stereotypical gay music I guess. It was fun though. The place had a nice layout, there was lots of funny fag posters on the walls, and a suprising number of sexy girls. After we left the club (because the birthday girl got kicked out) we (Levi, Myself, Stephanie L, Stephanie C, and Chrsitine) came back to my place and we played street fighter until about 4:30am. Went to bed at about 5:30 and didn't wake up until about 3:00 on Saturday.
Saturday left me with just enough time to return 2 microwaves, before heading to the Cobalt. CObalt was ok. First band was pretty good. Some punk band from Prince George. They kind of reminded me of Tsunami Bomb. I wish they weren't the first band though, because nobody ever dances to first band, and they deserved it. Second band was ok. They sounded better than last time I saw them. Third band had this wicked frontman and were quite talented, but all their shit sounded the same. We only stayed for about 10 minutes of the last band, as we opted for some Uncle Fatih's instead.
Today I did a bunch of nothing. After feeling semi-sick all weekend, I felt like absolute shit this morning. So, I did osme laundry, showered, took some Buckley's, played some street fighter, and now I feel considerable better.
We tried calling Shaw this weekend, ut after spending a combined total of about 3 hours on hold with Shaw, I think we're going to go with Roger's instead.
I feel like I should have made some really significant New Years resolution this year, because I feel I need it, but I also know that I never keep them anyway.I think Im going to be more selfish this year than I have in the past. Sorry Jayden, no more Wingman! (or at least as often).
I really just came home to pay my cell phone bill, but I think I'm going to stay until this dancing show is over. I m going to make some beef stew when i get home. Rather, Im going to prepare one to make tomorrow. Im undecided if I'll go to work tomorrow, it depends if I feel as shitty tomorrow as I did today.
On a side note: I found this hilarious: http://www.lovegodsway.org/GayBands "There are multiple levels of Gay Music. Some bands are what we like to call Gateway Bands. They lure children in with Pop Grooves and Salacious Melodies leaving them wanting more. They’ll move on to more dangerous bands and the next thing you know you’ve got a homosexual for a child. We’ve taken the time to highlight the bands that are particularly Gay. Please take the time and dissect your child’s CD / iTunes catalog. If you find 3 or more of these bands in their collection it is time to take action. We Strongly recommend that you burn the CDs. Make sure your child is watching. Make sure they can feel the heat. It is crucial that the image remains emblazoned in their young minds. They need to know that if they continue to listen to these bands they may Burn eternally as well. "
Loloololololololol
Life is weird these days. I hope it restabilizes soon.
Some lady in Washington just won $10 million, on the day her husband died. |
